Dark soy sauce is simply light soy sauce to which sugar has been added after the fermentation process. It has a distinctly molasses taste, and is used mostly in marinades and sauces to give a dark hue and sweet flavor boost. This dark soy sauce made by Guangdong's Pearl River Bridge is naturally brewed and contains no color or flavor additives.
